Discover a rammed earth facade in the making!

Join us to visit the construction site of a new building at the Botanical Garden of Meise. This project features a remarkable facade built in rammed earth, an ancient technique brought into dialogue with contemporary architecture.

Guided by Bregt from BC materials and Simon from ATAMA, the architects behind the project, the visit will offer insights into the design process, the construction methods, and the potential of earth as a circular building material.

The rammed earth facade at Meise demonstrates how local soils can be transformed into a robust, low-carbon, and aesthetically powerful architecture. Its layered textures embody both the geological history of the region and a future-oriented vision for circular construction.
