Workshops
We organise workshops open to all, focused on building with unfired earth and related bio-, geo-, and urban-sourced materials. These sessions are held regularly and vary in scope:
- Earth Discovery Workshop: A monthly one-day introduction day to discover the potential of raw earth; the resources, the variety of construction techniques. Through theory, and hands-on activities.
- Focus Workshop: Occasional deep-dives into specific techniques such as rammed earth, clay plasters & paints, or earth masonry.

We also offer workshops on demand tailored to architectural and engineering offices, universities, and institutions. These explore earthen construction from a material, technical, and architectural perspective, and are often used as a team building day, ongoing education, and collaborative learning.
BC materials provides training either directly on your construction site or in our production hall. These trainings support the transition from conventional methods (e.g. gypsum plastering or blockwork) to working with Léém Clay Plaster, Earth Blocks, or other bio-based materials.
